I Just Interviewed Thriller Author Tess Gerritsen

I recently interviewed best-selling author Tess Gerritsen for an upcoming column I’m writing for Crimereads.com. Crimereads read my stories about what famous authors have gone through to get their first book published, and asked me to write more. So I will be writing a monthly column for the largest mystery/crime/thriller fan site on the Internet (monthly circulation: 700,000-900,000).

I’ve already completed four. Lee Child will appear in March. Others include Michael Connelly, David Morrell and Steve Berry. (Currently on my website.)

Tess, originally studied medicine at her father’s behest. But her true love was writing. So while she was a young mother on maternity leave, she began to write seriously. Her first novel was Call After Midnight. Harvest, her first bestseller, didn’t arrive until years later. She also wrote Gravity and the Rizzoli & Isles novels, which became a television series. Read more in my upcoming Crimereads.com column.
